• Email Address (via Google Sign-In)

Used to authenticate you and associate your sessions and data with your account.

b. EEG and Session Data

• EEG recordings collected during your meditation sessions via supported EEG devices (e.g. BrainBit)

• Session metadata, such as date, time, duration, selected protocol, and completion status

c. Self-Reported Information

• Responses to onboarding questions (e.g. goals or intentions)

• Pre- and post-session feedback, including ratings for relaxation, focus, emotional state, and meditative depth

d. App Usage Data

• Anonymous usage metrics (e.g. session count, feature engagement)

• Device type and general performance analytics (via tools like Firebase)

We do not collect or store passwords, credit card numbers, or sensitive personal identifiers.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

All user and EEG data is stored securely using Supabase (a GDPR- and SOC2-compliant backend platform). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

We retain your session data as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

• Access: You may request a copy of your stored data.

• Correction: You may correct inaccurate self-reported data by editing your responses when supported.

• Deletion: You can request account deletion by emailing hello@vayulabs.com. We will process your request within a reasonable time.

• Consent Withdrawal: If you no longer wish to have your data stored or analyzed, you may stop using the app and request deletion.

Second Attention is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child under 16 has created an account, we will delete it.
