GVRU Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Vayu Labs, Inc. (“Vayu Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the GVRU virtual reality application (“GVRU” or the “App”).

This Privacy Policy applies only to GVRU and does not apply to other products or services offered by Vayu Labs, including Second Attention or any other Vayu Labs applications or websites, which are governed by their own respective policies.

1. Overview of GVRU

GVRU is a free, standalone virtual reality meditation experience available on Meta Quest devices. The App provides short, guided meditation experiences within immersive virtual environments. GVRU does not require user accounts, logins, or profiles and operates entirely on the user’s device.

2. Information We Collect

We do not intentionally collect, store, or transmit personal information through GVRU.

Specifically:

  • We do not require users to create accounts.

  • We do not collect names, email addresses, usernames, or contact information.

  • We do not collect biometric data.

  • We do not collect audio recordings, images, or video.

  • We do not collect user-generated content.

  • We do not collect health or medical information.

Device Motion Data

GVRU processes real-time headset and controller movement data solely to enable core virtual reality functionality (such as rendering movement within the environment). This data is processed locally on the device and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted by Vayu Labs.

3. Technical and Diagnostic Data

While GVRU does not include analytics or tracking SDKs, limited, anonymized technical or diagnostic data (such as crash reports or performance information) may be provided by the platform (for example, Meta) to assist with app stability and performance. Any such data is not used to identify individual users.

4. Platform Data Collection by Meta

Meta may collect information independently through its platform, operating system, or services when you download or use GVRU. This data collection is governed by Meta’s own privacy policies and practices.

Vayu Labs does not control, receive, or access Meta’s platform-level user data.

5. Third-Party Services

GVRU does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or marketing services. The App uses only standard virtual reality frameworks necessary for core functionality.

6. Children’s Privacy

GVRU is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through GVRU, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Future Features

If GVRU introduces new features in the future that involve the collection or use of personal data (such as optional biometric or EEG integrations), this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and users will be provided with clear notice and, where required, the opportunity to provide consent.

8. Data Security

Because GVRU does not collect or store personal data, we do not maintain personal data repositories associated with the App. We nonetheless take reasonable measures to ensure the App operates securely and as intended.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of GVRU after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
